United States Snowshoe Association unveils new book documenting
The History of Snowshoe Racing Around the World! October 24th, 2011: Longtime US Snowshoe Association Sports Director Mark Elmore has completed a two year project and is making his colorful and informative book chronicling the history of the sport of snowshoe racing around the world available for all sports enthusiasts just in time for the holidays. “As I became more and more involved with the sport of snowshoe racing, both in the U.S. and abroad, its’ colorful history really drew me deeper into the sport. I hope this book serves as a first attempt to chronicle a very interesting history.” The ninety-one page book is available in paperback and hard cover editions and takes the reader on a whirlwind tour of the globe exploring snowshoe racing in many different countries. The paperback copy sells for US$15 and features ninety-one black and white photographs. The US$45 hard cover copy serves up all photos in full color! The cost includes shipping.
