We have run approximately 18 trips this season already.  If you're interested in joining us on a trip, we are expecting a snow fall Tuseday this week, & it's expected to snow for the rest of the week. Check us out at www.snowshoeing.co.nz

It's real special time when you're walking on a frozen lake & the snow is falling all around you, one word sums it up, Serenity.

Well quite a lot has been happening over the last few weeks.
We had the launch of our Snowshoeing for Queenstown on the evening of the 28th May and gathered a good crowd upstairs at the Pig & Whistle.  Many attendees were intrigued by the new style snowshoes, many believing them to still look like tennis rackets.  Some were interested enough to put their names down for a morning in the snow with us on the 5th June.  Everyone had a great time and hopefully will be telling all their friends and customers.
We have also had a lot of media attention lately due to the fact that Snowshoeing is something new to Queenstown and everyone wants to know about it and tell everyone about it!  Here's one such article to check out in the Queenstown Times last Wednesday.

Well here we are; a new website, more sets of snowshoes & poles, now we're just waiting for the snow!
The snow has been falling the last couple of days and the tops of the mountains are getting a good covering, we just need it to settle and stay.  What has settled is cooling the ground down nicely for the beginning of the ski season in June.
We will be having our launch party at the end of May.  There's a real buzz about it - we're so excited!  ABC news from Australia, Sydney Herald, Auckland Herald and our own Mountain Scene are all keen to get the Scoop.
